My Ruby dolls. I loved making these they take on their own personality as you make them. They only require small pieces of fabric and left over embelishments. I embroidered their faces on the felt before sewing them on I will make a fairy ruby next. The instructions for making them can be found at oneredrobin click on the title.

Necklaces
A crazy quilting pendant instructions for making it can be found at the crazy quilting online mag in the links, I must get my head around getting a link in the posting. I didn't use a wooden bead couldn't see myself gluing around a wooden bead so I used felt cut it to the size I wanted and rolled it up quite tight then wrapped the cq around. I used gathered ribbon around the top and bottom to tidy up. It does look quite good on a plain jumper as it took some time to do I am going to try machine patterns and then hand embroidery on felt. The other two necklaces I made last year, the black and white one looks good.

Book Page Swop
Mothers Day
My daughter gave me a great present for Mothers Day a tin of soluble water colour pencils. I have done a little water colour painting but haven't tried pencils. I'm not very good at painting and drawing so have joined a local class to learn. Can I learn or is it a talent. Mothers Day in UK comes before the USA one.

Dolly Dancer
This is Dolly the papier mache dancer she is made from pulp over a wire armature, her skirt is pasted newspaper pleated onto the body and then painted, Dolly was fun to make although a bit fiddly she comes from Contemporary Papier Mache by Gilat Nadivi. Click on the photo to enlarge and you might find my deliberate mistake. I have been making some more figures of my own design when they are finished I will post them.
